Our social commitment:

It is our belief that entrepreneurial action means more than creating business growth. We take our role in society seriously.

Our corporate citizenship activities have the following emphases:

Education
Education is the engine of the economy. Access to the latest technologies and knowledge is the source for the innovations of tomorrow. We support the education of professional specialists and managers of the future with lectures at various universities in the Rhein-Neckar metropolitan region
Aid projects
Through ongoing sponsorships (plan-deutschland.de) we help children in the Third World to improve their circumstances in life and find ways to escape poverty.

Community service award for the region

In June 2007, we were honored with the new community service award "Aktie-e". This award is part of a model project of the Landesstiftung Baden-Württemberg foundation and the Ministry for Labor and Welfare (Ministerium für Arbeit und Soziales) in Baden-Württemberg. As part of this project, companies were honored for their social commitment in the European metropolitan region Rhein-Neckar.

Christian Reschke accepted the award for our "Martinsmännchen for all" effort, which involved the free distribution of 700 traditional baked breads shaped like a man holding a clay pipe to children participating in the Weinheim St. Martin's Day procession. This enabled us to revive a nearly forgotten custom and put a smile on many young faces.
